How We Compare VPS Plans
Sources and updates
Offers come from provider pricing pages and public APIs. We retain the source URL and actual collection timestamp. Updates are published after a successful collection and validation run; there is no guarantee that every provider is refreshed daily. Older offers are labelled. A collection date is not a purchase, a benchmark or a guarantee of current availability.
Currencies and billing
We display original currencies without applying an unverified exchange rate. Default price sorting groups offers by currency and billing unit, then sorts the amounts within each group. Choose one currency for a budget comparison. The under-$5 page only includes USD monthly rates or equivalents at or below USD 5.
Where providers publish a monthly rate, cap or prepaid monthly equivalent, we preserve and label it. An hourly-only rate stays hourly. We do not invent a monthly total for it. Published estimates show their hour assumption. A monthly equivalent is not necessarily the amount charged each month: check the term and billing amount.
Additional costs
Published mandatory minimum storage costs are added to compute prices when both are known and use the same currency. Offers requiring unpriced mandatory storage are withheld. Setup fees, supplied renewal prices and tax status are shown separately. A missing value means unknown, not free. Optional software licences, extra IP addresses, backups and excess transfer may add costs at checkout.
Selection and ordering
Filters operate on the same prepared offers used for HTML, interactive results, counts and structured data. Location pages require location evidence in the offer itself; general provider coverage is not enough. RAM pages use the stated RAM size. Tool pages use the resource thresholds shown on the page as starting assumptions, not verified application capacity. Affiliate status is not a ranking input.
Quality checks and exclusions
We check usable prices, currency and billing periods before publication. Suspicious combinations, such as a large-memory USD plan at an unusually low monthly price, are held for source review. Dedicated-server categories and retired providers are excluded. These checks catch some data errors but do not independently verify every option or checkout total.
Limits of this comparison
Advertised CPU cores, RAM and disk size do not establish measured performance, uptime or support quality. Regional availability, taxes and introductory conditions can change. We do not have first-hand tests for the listed plans. Confirm current terms at the linked source before ordering.
